Lee Pasch – Bass Playaz EP (Untidy Trax)

Fresh faced Lee Pasch is back with an alternative sound to what we are previously used to from him. He delivers the mighty Bass Playaz EP on Untidy Trax, three tracks of filthy, dirty, tough house, each of which have a different sound.

‘Bass Playaz’ is a deep bass driven beast which has the potential to cross over into the UK Garage scene with w tempo adjustment As it is, it is a fine track with a catchy vocal hook and a very underground feel to it. This track will no doubt be supported why a whole host of DJs from across the wider dance music scene.

‘House Music’ is my favourite on the EP thanks to its butt kicking bassline and crispy percussion. The vocal tops it off just nicely. It’s very Untidy in sound, whlst evolving the label’s trademark sound – a difficult thing to do when it is so distinctive.

‘Start a Revolution’ is the third and final track of the EP and contains many sounds reminiscent of the early 90’s dance scene within the UK. The piano sounds great in this, I love a good piano!  This  contains some very nice sounds indeed that will definitely make you move. ‘Revolution’ has the ability to cause a real revolt within the house scene because this is indeed proper house music.

Untidy Trax has delivered another banger and one that will feature in the playlist of many DJs.

As Jack once said “House is a feeling…'”
