The label that can do no wrong is back with a brand new artist into the fold and a throbbign three tracker of tough ‘n’ Untidy house.
This Bristolian is a true fan of hard house so much so that he’s taken to producing the music, Inspired many moons ago by Paul Glazby’s Insomina mix. This on the other hand is much lighter than the sound Mr Glazby would drop but in it’s own right, this EP is a pure banger.
First up is ‘Take Me High’ chunky little number with that instantly recogniseable Untidy bassline that so few can actually master, but Hayz has it perfectly nurtured. It contains a sinple yet effective vocal hook which works really well with the rave stab. It’s just goes to prove that in most cases less is more.
‘Feel It’ has a slighly more funkier feel to it whiclst retaining a tough body. A nice catchy riff filters it’ way in with the vocal teases you along. As this builds so will the adrenaline on the dancefloor. Again the stabs add a nice toughness to this track making it stand out.
Finally we have ‘Dripping’, the deepest cut of the three, aptly named as it will work you up into a dirty sweat. This is definitely the crossover track of the EP, which will reach out to DJ’s within the more underground areas of the dance spectrum.
This release is that good Bassment Jaxx dropped it durung a fecent set at Manchetrer’s Warehouse Project… that’s serious jockin’!
This is well worthy of a vinyl pressing!
