The ever innovateive soud of Tidy drops another fine tasty little number for you to devour.
Now this release is rocking from the outset and is a nice, driving number. The bassline and percussion work really well in tandem and the track is given it’s hard house edge with a nice little acid line weaving in and out at various stages.
The stabbed break in this is nicely done and gives the track it’s identity. The chopped up vocal snippets used throughout the track are cleverly used. All in all, this is an extremely well produced track. In fact it’s probably too groovy to be a hard house tune but will, nevertheless, cause some seriousdamage on a dancefloor.
This is a little belter of a track. Slow it right down and you’ve practically got an Untidy release… and as if by magic… target audience widened. Very clever indeed. I would however love to see an Untidy version of this release maybe a remix by Zander Club, Zaw or the main man himself Sam Townend.
Ross Homson is no stranger to the label. This isn’t his first release on it and it certainly won’t be his last! Drax Nelson is well known for his house and tech house productions on labels like Toolbox House, LW Recordings and Forward Motion. It’s clear to see the influence they have has on each other with this rather fantatic release.
This is definitely one of my favourite Tidy releases of late!
