Tidy releases the first battle weapon in it’s Drained serious with a remix courtesy of David Rust and boy… has he dome the track proud.
Well known for his hugely animated DJ sets, that energy has been replicated within this track, creating what is very much one hell of a crossover track. This remix is corrosive throughout, guaranteeing damage to any dancefloor that it is deployed onto. If you saw the video of him dropping it at Love Tidy Leeds you will know what I mean… pure carbage!
It’s quite a snappy little beast with a ferocious bite thanks to some very tasty rough and raw sounds. The vocal is cleverly cut up over a bubbling bassline. Throw in some nice synth stabs and other little analogue sounds which are the perfect ingredients to make this track the monster that it is.
Rust is a man of many talents and we seriously hope this won;t be his first outing on Tidy. This track sits so well in sets of many styles including, hard tarnce, techno, tough house, not only hard house. This is something that is happening with a lot of releases on the Tidy labels and I love this.
The quality of releases from all the tidy labels is bang on right now and long may this continue…
