One of the biggest success stories from the TidyPro programme is Andy Naylor. He is better known or being an online fitness coach who has helped transform people from being fat to fit. It’s ironic that he has now flipped that to create two phat tracks with his first release on Untidy Trax.
First up on the EP is ‘Funky Pills’, a deep and delightful bass propelled flow mover with a seductive female vocal demanding ‘Funky Pills’. This is definitely on the tougher side of the house spectrum with a nice atmospheric break broken by some light analogue sounds as the track builds back up to be re-joined by the bassline and the stabs.
The second track on this EP is my favourite out of the two, ‘The Beat Won’t Stop’ features a distinctively infectious bassline riding the crisp percussion throughout. There is so much going on off in this track. I love it! When the break comes in you are misled into thinking the track will just build… Enter the nasty synth sound that gives this tracks some tasty balls. The bass comes back in and you have one hell of a thumping tough house cut that fits so nicely under the Untidy umbrella.
This is definite dancefloor workout material and a new artist to keep your eyes out for!
